Mentoring at Red Wing High School

Interested in connecting one-on-one with a youth from Red Wing High School?  Our 60-minute mentoring sessions are designed for you to make in-school connections with a youth; ask them about their day, show you care about their goals and personal growth, and dialogue on topics that youth in our current culture struggle with.  Our hope for the mentoring program at the high school is to help High School youth feel more connected to the community of Red Wing through their mentor relationship. Join mentoring at the High School, serving grades 8-12, and help guide a youth through their Red Wing High School career and into a successful transition to adulthood.  To take the first step in becoming a mentor to a High School student, please complete this mentor application.

Become a Committee or Board Member

We are looking for board members who believe in our mission and are willing to be active in their advocate roles. We believe that this work has never been more important than it is today.

Red Wing Youth Outreach is entering a challenging and exciting time, as economic pressures on our communities and specifically our youth increase and the demand for our services continues to rise. We have a tradition of high quality youth programming and activism related to youth advocacy, and we invite you to become part of our team.

As Red Wing Youth Outreach ventures into providing mentoring services to Red Wing youth, it is important that we have the full support of key community members and organizations in hopes that we will eventually educate the community on our services and receive full community support. We all know it takes a village to raise a child, and we hope that you will join us as be become a part of the Red Wing village.

While we do ask that our board members play an active role, we pride ourselves on supporting each other as a team and believe that we offer an opportunity for our members to learn and grow with the organization.

A member of our Recruitment Committee, Mandy Arden Director of Red Wing Youth Outreach, can be contacted by phone 651-388-3371 with any question.
